Who are we?

This site was born out of need.  One of our dear parents was suffering from memory loss, and in our search to find answers, we collected the best resources we could find.  Realizing that many others find themselves facing the same or similar issues, we decided to publish what we found.

Our backgrounds include a business executive who also volunteers as an Emergency Medical Technician and is studying to be a paramedic, and a 20-year veteran RN who is currently studying to be a Nurse Practitioner.  Despite our backgrounds in managing people and medicine, we found dealing with our family member to be quite daunting.  We’ve felt that they key is having the right information.

This site attempts to empower and enable you by sharing the information that we’ve learned.  Nothing on this site should be taken as medical or legal advice.  You should seek out the assistance of doctors and attorneys to help you apply specific strategies to your family member.
